Sunday, April 24 was so hope-filled, and fulfilling. It had started with a glorious Sunday morning worship at 9am, and hope was pervasive during that entire time of worship, and listening to God’s Word.
From the time we began praise and worship, to the end of the sharing of God’s Word, it was clear that there was much hope!
Jessie and I then went for a scrumptious lunch at this great place for Indian cuisine in Bangsar called Anadha Bhavan. Out conversation over lunch was so filled with hope.
In the afternoon, we watched a hilarious movie starring Martin Lawrence and ‘Raven’. Laughter is a good medicine! Laughter fills you with hope that there are still things in life you can laugh about.
I went ‘Ubering’ that evening with plenty of hope. It did not initially seem hopeful. Had a couple of teenagers who were moving from one house in Selayang, to another in Desa Park, to continue with their video games, or were they studying together?
After dropping them off, another ping, this time to a location in Mutiara D’sara. Had some trouble locating this client, but finally found her, and enjoyed the conversation as we found our way to Sri Kembangan. She was my first Uber ‘cash’ client.
Then, things almost turned not very hopeful. Got another ping, and client was ‘no-show’! But this frustration turned to joy because as I was leaving this ‘no-show’ place, another ping came in, and I ended with an airport trip, and Back! Meaning, after dropping off this client, I picked up another at the airport. That was so cool!
Returned home that night very, very thankful.
Lessons learned?
1. Persevere-keep on doing what’s right at that moment
2. NEVER lose HOPE
3. Keep on Respecting people
4. Keep on giving Excellent service
5. Always Be Thankful
Would you have Hope for Living? I do hope so for you. Have a great week ahead!
